Friends from Miles VPK class. In the middle of all the boys is Ms. Megan, their teacher. She is the best teacher, hands down. I wouldn't be surprised if she was the most requested teacher at Suntree United Methodist. We were so lucky, fortunate, blessed, that one of the boys in her class moved, leaving one spot open. I just happened to run into a mom at Target, the second day after arriving in Melbourne. She had three boys all about the same age as mine. We started talking, she told me about the school, checked to see if there were any openings, called me the next day and said they had one spot open up. The rest is history. It turns out Ms. Megan lives about 1.5 miles from our house. Sometimes we bake treats and take them to her. On this day, I invited the boys over to decorate sugar cookies for her, then she came by for a visit and picked them up. This was the last year that SUMS allowed you to request a teacher, or give you preference if an older sibling had the teacher. I will be absolutely heart broken if Eli doesn't get her :( I know, get over it, she's just a teacher right? Wrong... she is that good! Hoping, wishing, praying Eli gets her.
This is a fun video of our littlest Jedi practicing his light saber skills.
