We had a banana split party. We invited all five of the families that John and his HT companion visit (three of them came). We figured it would be a great way to get to know everyone. We had 8 adults, 7 kids, and a great lesson on being prepared for a hurricane.
Elle, Miles and Brenna eating ice cream. Notice the big chocolate spot on the table...Miles had to put his ice cream cone down to bless it and tried to get the girls to do the same thing. "Oh prayer, fold arms, close eyes" said Miles. Made a mom proud.
We saw some beautiful sunsets this week. Where is Marie when you need her (in Washington). This picture doesn't do it justice. In the words of Ziggy, yes the cartoon character...."Go God Go!" The last time I saw a sunset this beautiful with streaks of aqua blue, pink and purple draped across the sky, I was sitting with my Aunt Norma on her roof, summer of 2003.

We've been taking lots of baths. Miles loves to wear Johns swimming goggles and look for things through the bubbles. Eli just plain loves to be in the water. He will be playing in the boys room and as soon as he hears me turn on the water, he's standing by the bath tub just waiting for me to get him in.

Miles is looking pretty styling with those goggles on.
We miss you guys. Melinda and I are looking at coming down in November but she recently lost her job so I am not sure if it will work out.
