BUGS

This is what we think

is making all of the noise 24/7. Its about the size of a large prune and ugley. Any ideas on what it is and what eats it?

I will tell Quintin to take a look at it and let you know.

You have a cicada. Those are the noisiest most giant bugs ever! If you get too close to them they buzz so loud it sounds like a crazy bird. We have them all over. I actually threw my back out a couple weeks ago when I was startled by one I almost stepped on. We found that "Home Defense" bug spray (comes in a red container and you can buy it at Walmart or Home Depot) keeps the bugs and ants from coming in the house. You come out east and you realize how little we are bugged by bugs in the west. Take care.

what eats it is your kid in a few more weeks if you train him right.
You need to get a bug zapper light they kill and entertain all at once.

Are you serious?? EW! I don't think I'd be able to sleep at night with one of those running around...

Good luck with that!

We used to get them all the time in Tenn. I never really looked into what killed them (other than my foot) but I found that once we got the apartment free of them they stayed out unless we let them in.

It took some time to get rid of them all because they would hide all over the place but other than that they only got in when we left a door or window open.
