Memorial Day

I know this is late but thank you to all those who served and are are still serving our country. This is what we showed the boys on Memorial Day this year. This is John's father Gary guarding President Kennedy's grave and Gary's father Doug Watson during WWII. Doug was an airplane mechanic on a Navy aircraft carrier.

Cars 2

The boys love Cars. John took them to the new movie franchise. The two of them loved it and still talk about seeing it again to this day. For weeks before the movie miles counted down the days before opening night. On the way in to the movie Miles enthusiastically told everyone that they were going to see cars 2.

As you can see its hard to get a sharp pic of this group. I thought keeping two still was hard! These are our friends from Kentucky, Nina and Stephan. Their parents Per and Angelici own a home in Naples down the road from us. We have really enjoyed getting to know them and their family! We look forward to their visits throughout the year.

Eli ate all of his jelly beans in...maybe 10 or 15 minutes. Once he started dumping them all over the floor I figured, why not? He was one crazy, hyper, then angry, then tired little boy. I think he finally fell asleep around 10:00 pm.
